Dance Series at Lawrence University presents Thunder, a new work for singing bodies by Choreographer/Composer Tatyana Tenenbaum in collaboration with performers Emily Moore and Laurel Snyder. Tenenbaum’s work explores the phenomenal space of the singing body from interwoven perspectives of dance, performance, theater and music.  Using the voice as the central point of deconstruction, her work forms coarse tapestries of sound, movement, force and presence.  Like the act of nature both heard and felt, Thunder investigates the singing body as an object of reverberance and sensation, whose dual phenomena collide in an instance of meaning.
